My father! The earth is moving around you !!

This is the English translation of my Telugu poem “Bhoomi thana chuttu thanu thiruguthu nee chutte thiruguthundi!” from my Book Dalitaawaaz – II
Father!
Why the earth moving around you now?
Once they had direct fight with you
Now they are standing in a big queue to garland you!
When you started digging to find the roots of caste system
You found Buddha
Then you became a Buddha
After you found Phule
Then you became Phule
Again you found Kabeer
Then you became Kabeer
Still…
Who are you?
You are a rice bowl
You are a rally of equality slogans
You are preamble of the constitution
Again who are you?
O, proud father of 22 crores people
Messiah of masses
The earth moving around you
Who are you?
O sun!!
The East, The West
The North, The South
Four sides jointly showing your side!!!
Your Name is SUN!
Your Name is Ambedkar!!

Dear Sir, this is one of the best poem which I read about dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Dr. Ambedkar was a man aho spend his entire life for the values like humanity, liberty, equality.
He was expert in all fields like…he was economist, political thinker…but till now in our country so-called elite class don’t talk about his all work. His work has been specified to certain sectors…I believe, we should take stand for this.

we read the poem in Nanded in Maharashtra. Congratulations on writing an excellent poem on the greatest leader of the opressed in India. The images are quite apt and speak well.
however, there are many poems on Ambedkar in Marathi, which have not been translated in other Indian languages. Namdeo Dhasal alone has been writing a poem on Ambedkar every year. It is good you only translated your poem into English.

Congratulation for writing excellent poem..on the world’s greatest champion of Humnan rights, A real Captain of masses, A great go getter!! Poems are always heart felt expressions of feelings. Emotional expressios are always valued, when emotions rules, logic gives up!
I had privelidge to visit Columbia university in New York and pay my respect to Dr. Babasaheb statue which is installed at Lehham Library center. The people in America are so respectful for Dr. Baba Saheb’s work for humanity they are sending a message to every Indian that irrrespective of caste n creed they should be proud of Dr. Babasaheb.
I am sure the day is not far of when every so called high caste Indian would be proud to be associate with an Ambedkarite!!
